land statement

Our offices sit on the traditional and unceded territory of the Kanien’keha:ka (Mohawk), a place which has long served as a site of meeting and exchange among various nations. Our national work has an impact on countless other questions of land justice for Canada’s First, Second and Third Nations and we acknowledge the great responsibility and honour of asking these questions together.

Working towards sustainable development

The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals are at the heart of what TCF thinks local communities should be working towards. It always aims to prioritize its support to charities working towards these honourable objectives. TCF provides less than market rate spaces to Canada’s charitable sector, through the adaptive re-use of church buildings. The foundation measures the number of individuals helped and multiplies that by an impact co-efficient for each of the CRA’s charitable sub-sectors.
